- ➤ On November 18th, an Adoption Day celebration at Providence Baptist Church in Harrisburg honored 12 families, including Sara Moss’s household where her daughter Chloe fulfilled her cheerleading dream on the JV football sidelines. Officials stressed the need for more foster parents—Cabarrus County had 43 licensed foster parents caring for 177 children—and urged local residents to consider supporting foster care. - ➤ The City of Concord will honor Suzanne Howard as the Special Guest for its 97th Concord Christmas Parade—she has helped shape the event as a longtime volunteer and co-host for over 20 years.
