- ➤ Domestic and international visitors spent $679.41 million in Cabarrus in 2024+ that marks an 8.7 percent increase in spending, according to a study commissioned by Visit North Carolina. Independent Tribune
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ City of Concord and the Creation Care team at All Saints’ Episcopal Church again partner with the Arbor Day Foundation and Carolina Power Partners to give away 300 free trees to Concord homeowners and Concord Electric Systems customers. Reservations will open Monday, September 8 at 8 a.m. (limited quantities) and trees must be picked up on Saturday, October 18 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at All Saints’ Episcopal Church (525 Lake Concord Rd NE) where Master Gardeners will offer planting guidance.
