Cabarrus County Fair will run from Sept.
11 to Sept. 19 at Cabarrus Arena and Events Center, featuring a new balloon art display, four nights of professional rodeo, live music and local vendors. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled on Sept. 11 (3:30 p.m.) to honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
