- ➤ The Cabarrus County Fair opens Friday, Sept. 5 at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center and will run through Saturday, Sept. 13. Visitors will enjoy rides, food, four nights of live rodeo action, discount nights, and special events like a lumberjack show and livestock displays—offering family fun throughout the nine-day fair.
