Pleasant Library at 73 — Main on Sept. 20 at 3 p.m. to sign her new thriller while SEA LIFE Charlotte-Concord has opened an interactive Clubhouse for marine care and Avelo Airlines will launch nonstop flights from Concord-Padgett to San Juan beginning Oct. 22 and to West Palm Beach and Albany starting Oct. 23. - ➤ The Cabarrus County Fair will open on September 5 at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center and run through September 13, offering rides, food, and four nights of live rodeo action with discount nights like Senior Day and School Night.
