- ➤ The City of Concord government offices will be closed on Labor Day Monday, September 1 and many services will follow modified schedules for the holiday. Garbage, recycling, yard waste and bulky waste collection will be delayed one day—Rider Transit will not operate and some recreation centers, such as the David Phillips Activity Center and Lake Fisher, will be closed.
