- ➤ Old Dominion Freight Line cut 1,081 jobs in the second quarter as revenue and net income fell amid a weak economy—its net income dropped to $268.6 million. The company will build an $18 million terminal in Concord at 2980 New Town Way SW on a 39.3-acre site as part of its expansion plans. Independent Tribune
