- ➤ Joel White was promoted to Director of Buildings and Grounds to oversee maintenance and custodial services for 70 City facilities in Concord — he will assume his new duties immediately. Independent Tribune
- ➤ Cabarrus County mailed property tax bills to property owners on July 29 based on January 2025 assessments and a tax rate set in June. Owners can view and pay their bills online using the myCabCo service—bills are due Sept. 1 with a four‐month window before penalties begin. Cabarrus County Government
- ➤ Municipal and county property tax bills will be mailed soon—property owners can sign up for paperless billing and pay online through the myCabCo service. Independent Tribune
