  • The Public Art Commission Regular Meeting will take place on August 20 at 4:30 p.m. in City Hall—Conference Room 330 at 35 Cabarrus Ave W, and it is part of a series held on the third Wednesday of each month until December 17.  City of Concord, North Carolina

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Cabarrus College is sponsoring a back-to-school night event at a ballpark where attendees may donate school supplies & receive complimentary entry to the game. The event is set to support students as they gear up for the new school year.  Independent Tribune

  • In 2006, Cabarrus enacted the Statewide Farmland Preservation Program to protect farmland vital for local food production & voluntary agricultural districts continue to safeguard this essential resource.  Independent Tribune
