- ➤ At a July 8 meeting, county commissioners approved fee schedules for the Cabarrus County Fair that will run from Sept. 5 to Sept. 13. Fair officials said the event will feature professional rodeos by Southern Rodeo Company—held on Friday and Saturday nights at 6:30 p.m.—discount theme nights and new attractions for visitors.
