- ➤ To honor Child Abuse Awareness Month, a Pinwheel Ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23rd from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Cabarrus County Courthouse Plaza in Concord. Community leaders and local agency representatives — including officials from the Child Protection Team — will speak before attendees plant pinwheels to show support for abuse prevention.
