- ➤ The City of Concord has published its 2026 Recycling and Bulky Waste Collection Calendar online for residents. The calendar shows blue and green recycling weeks, plus city holidays with delays while outlining common contaminants; residents can use the free CARTology app for schedule reminders and disposal guidance. - ➤ Atrium Health and 15-time NASCAR Cup Series champions Hendrick Motorsports have partnered to name a new 35,000 sqft athletic center in Concord. The Atrium Health Motorsports Athletic Center will host sports training + wellness programs for local athletes. Independent Tribune
