Sugar and Statecraft: Holiday Desserts, Direct from the White House Celebrate the season with a dessert workshop that travels through White House history! Special guest Bennett Rea, of Cookin' with Congress , will guide us through holiday sweets from the early nineteenth century's puddings to the Gilded Age's confections to the cookies and cakes of today. Participants will get a taste of the stories behind each era's treats and join in the fun of making and sampling them! Tickets coming soon.
