What Next?

About this event

What’s next for our society, our culture, and our planet as we face imminent changes in technology?

There are two misleading narratives about the future: one says we’re collapsing, while the other claims technology can fix everything. Neither tells the full story as we move into the next era of humanity, where old and new systems coexist in a delicate balance.

Join us for a multifaceted conversation about how recent changes are transforming labor, personal security, purpose, climate; causing psychological stressors weighing on billions around the planet. Drawing from economic research, policy proposals, and science fiction, we’ll explore the possibilities and tensions these changes create, bringing our own hopes and ideas to the table as we brainstorm the systems we want to manifest in response.

For that reason, your opinion matters, and quite a lot.

No prior reading necessary, but any articles, papers, or books you’d like to share are most welcome! 📝
